Joseph Izang Ibrahim
Research and Education Coordinator
Joseph is a nature enthusiast, passionate about integrated biodiversity conservation. Evidence suggests that biodiversity is critical for ecosystem function and services on which humans depend, and is directly linked to the economic, social, and environmental components of sustainability. Because of this, the integration of research from each of these areas is my priority. I also have interest in community ecology, mating system, and exploring butterfly phenology data in relation to climate variables. I have interest also in environmental cues that trigger migration in butterflies, citizen science and species niche/distribution modelling. I am an ardent field ecologist, If you don’t find me in the office, check the nearest bush I will be there bird watching and photographing wildlife
